Modlumi Docs

Draw, shape and organize 3D models with Modlumi, open your SketchUp files, and automate the repetitive parts with JavaScript or TypeScript.
box.js
const model = modlumi.activeModel;
model.operation("Box", () => {
model.entities.addEdges([[0, 0, 0], [4, 0, 0], [4, 3, 0], [0, 3, 0], [0, 0, 0]]);
const [face] = model.entities.ofType("Face");
face.extrude(2);
});
console.log(`The model now has ${model.entities.length} elements`);

JavaScript built in

Modlumi has a JavaScript engine built in, so there’s nothing to install. Run script files, or type JavaScript straight into the script console. Type declarations give your editor completion and type checking.

Undoable by design

Every change happens inside a named operation. Each operation is one undo step, and a failure never leaves a half-finished edit behind.

Real units

Coordinates are meters and angles are radians, with helpers to convert from millimeters and inches.

Desktop or background

Run scripts from the script editor, the File menu, the command line, or in the background without a window.
