Privacy Policy
Last updated October 27, 2026
Modlumi collects as little as it needs to run, improve and support it. We never collect your models unless you choose to send one to us, and we don't sell your data or share it for advertising.
Who we are
Thomas Loockx, Houtduifweg 8, 3140 Keerbergen, Belgium ("we", "us") makes Modlumi and is the controller of the personal data described here, under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). For any privacy question or request, email contact@modlumi.com.
This policy covers the Modlumi app, the website modlumi.com and the emails we send.
What we collect and why
- Usage statistics from the app: anonymous technical data: random IDs for your installation and session, how long and on which version and system you use Modlumi, and whether you draw, save, import a file (only its file type), run an installed plugin or connect an AI agent. Never the contents or names of your models. We use it to understand how Modlumi is used and to improve it, based on our legitimate interest. You can turn it off in the app.
- Website analytics: how visitors use modlumi.com and how often Modlumi is downloaded, counted without cookies or other tracking in your browser and without storing your IP address. Based on our legitimate interest.
- What you send us: when you report a problem, write to us or subscribe to news, we keep what you give us, such as your email address, your message, and any screenshot or model you attach, along with technical details that help us reproduce a problem. We use it to answer you, fix problems and send the news you asked for, based on your request or, for news, your consent.
Who processes it for us
We use service providers for hosting, analytics and sending email, such as Cloudflare and PostHog. They process data only on our behalf, under data processing agreements. Where data leaves the European Economic Area, the transfer relies on an adequacy decision, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, or on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep data only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected for. Attachments to bug reports are deleted after a few months and newsletter subscriptions when you unsubscribe. Messages and reports are kept until you ask us to delete them.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may ask us for access to your data, to correct or delete it, to restrict or object to its processing, and for a copy in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time, for example with the unsubscribe link in our emails. Email contact@modlumi.com; we answer within one month.
You may also complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority, dataprotectionauthority.be, or to the authority of the country where you live.
Modlumi isn't meant for children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their data. We'll announce changes to this policy on this page, with the date at the top.
